Countermeasures VS. Cruise Disruptors

Do countermeasures have any effect on CD missiles? I THINK I've evaded at least a few by firing off three Adv. Countermeasures, but it might've been plain missiles.

They have exactly the same success rate against CDs as they do against regular missiles, the reason you might think they're not as effective is simply because CDs travel so fast, you might not have fired it in time

or, the CD is out of decoy range when you dropped the CM, i once fooled a Corsair Wasp CD in a starflier in omega-7 with an ADV. CM, just keep pressing the button until the misile is fooled.
Provided the missile is in range, with a Adv. CM, if you drop 2, you have a 1% chance of the missile hitting, another CM, and the chance drops to 0.1%, another, 0.01%, and so on...

If your in a powerful ship, you can simply sub-target the CD launchers and blow them off, leaving the ship intact and allowing you to escape
