Symmetry - Gotta have it!

Dunno if I'm the only one here that thinks like this, but well, I HAVE to have symmetry when I load out my ships.

As an example, my favorite loadout on a Barracuda is two Stunpulse guns on the tips and Wakizashis ("souvenirs" heh heh) on the fuselage. I know it would make more sense to have one Advanced Stunpulse and another gun or missile on the wingtip, but I just can't bear the look. Currently I'm flying a Dagger in L2 with four Drails and one Stunpulse Turret. I just can't stand my ship looking lopsided at all - I won't combine Starbeams with Justices, and I never buy missiles, only Cruise DIsruptors.

Anyone else? Or am I just obsessed?

p.s. Use cockpit view and you won't have to worry about what your ship looks like from a water skiier's viewpoint.

me too!! i cant stand having a different weapon on the right than on the left!! its crazy! if i do then i dont even use the 2 weapons!

yes indeed...its strange, but i never feel good when flying a ship that has different guns everywhere, give me nice old symmetry

Me too.........and that thruster to the right of the tail on civilian ships bugs me too !!

Yeah, same here, i just gotta have the dual missile launchers!!!

Lopsidedness it THE worst thing you can have on a ship, in my opinion, and the Bratonian Crusader is a real sucker for that, considering HP1 is on one side and HP2 is on the same side!!

You should see my anubis loadout, COMPLETELY SYMMETRICAL!!

try symmetry with the class 10 guns. that's impossible.
Symmetry sucks, you can never have the loadout AND be symmetrical at the same time, imo...

I like to have symmetry if I can, but to me the guns themselves are more important. I'd be more concerned about the weapon speeds than their position

I like to have symmetry with my two fastest guns on the wings or at least the side of the ship, makes it look better. But my other guns i dont mind as they need to be powerful. Most of time i wont care anyway

Never been too concerned about the symetry...really doesn't matter in space. This is an interesting thread because I never really gave it much thought.

Yeah...
If I find myself with more than 2 different kinds of guns, it creeps me out.
I often find myself docking, firing my guns to make sure they're symetrical, then docking again to fix them if they're not.
