I hate to say it, but you're not going to get much with only 10 megabytes. If you're willing to get a better connection, or just willing to wait a long time, try the TNG mod. It adds a new system, tons of new ships, and lots of new weapons.

Privateer: The Reckoning for SP 1.48 mb And there arer others on the download page. It gives the size of the files. Hope this helps.

TNG is boring

Thanks for your post. But can you recomend any of them? (I mean which is longest and playable?)

lol - could "re-package" a version of Evo for you, without the tune at the start (2001 space odessy tune) - which should come in under 10meg.

Playing privateer at this time, is pretty good. To get a long one, means a bigger download. Evolution, TNG, or Hostile Universe. All three are very good.

You can get Evo here for 9.218 meg, its evo 1.27:

TNG is 30Mb, however, i think they are about to release next version, but 1.7 is here


Hostile Universe is alot smaller, it weighs in at approx 3.4Mb, but has some bugs with crashes in one or two of the new systems - but its very good Hostile Universe is here

i had a good time with rebelance mod, and now use the evolution mod, with i like also. freeworld is a mod with is used by a few servers...

this mod is a mp only, and is get still upgrades, i played it when it had still 4 systems, now they had 5...

ps. look at the download site for see how big thus mods are, and how big the add-ons are... and maybe found where you where looking for. co'z i don't know how big thus files are (i have cable, so i don't have to worry about thus big files )

@Kangax: I don't know if you've already tried this and it didn't work but I have a connection problem like yours. In order to get around that I download big mods like FLRebalance in smaller chunks. There are a number of good free download managers. I used Fresh Devices Fresh Download until the trial ran out then switched to LeechGet. Fresh Download worked better for resuming downloads and downloading e-mail attachments but LeechGet has a much quicker method of downloading.
