IONCROSS is meant for mp not sp, so are you trying to use sp save games on mp?

What was FL2 and is now ...............*suspense and drum roll* .................... FL: Fallen Universe!!!!

OK well its not that bad of a problem but its REALLY annoying. I was playing today when i discovered that i would lose sound from time to time...not the music..but the People talking or sound efects like engine or landing...now this has never happend before...and i dont have any mods so im wondering how this could be???? so any help would be greatly appreciated! thx

If it's a fresh install of FL my first suspicion would be the speakers. I had this problem, and it turned out that my speakers were set so that one was handling music and the other fx like people talking, so if that's your setup, check for loose connections in the actual speakers

thx ill try that...now one more problem....i just lost all my save files...i started Freelancer just a second ago and it umm none of my Save files were THERE! i dont know what i should do! HELP ME PLZ! if this helps any..i turned on Freelancer mod maneger and i had Ioncross on at the same time..now i had my files before i turned those on..then i ctr + f in mod manager ad freelancer started and when i went to load NOTHING was there! i havnt looked for anything yet and i dont know how SO PLZ HELP ME!!! in ioncross i barley changed any of my setting..gave myself more money..and a new ship (yes i have beaten Freelancer befor) so plz help me!!!1!!!1111

If you uninstalled Freelancer, you must have unclicked the "Presreve save games, screenshots etc." clicker.

And I think your problem in the first place might have been that in the options thing you turned off all sound things except music, although I doubt that would be it, 'cos no-one could be that stupid.

no because it was a reinstall a few days ago...but i JUST lost my save files...like not more than an hour ago...do u think anythnig might have backed those files up Mod Manager IONCROSS ?

My dear dudes, this is the worst FL bug known to mankind. The sound is gone sometimes and you wont be ably to get passed the 3 mission. There's a fix which you can get here.

You may have lost your saves because FLMM creates a new folder for each mod's saves. Deactivate the mod and try again, your saves are probably still there.
