What does Mk mean?

What does Mk mean?

I see all these weapons with Mk I, Mk II, Mk III after their names. What exactly does it mean?

This means 'Mark' or 'Series'.

Eg: Justice MArk 1, Justive Mark2.... plop the word series in there and you get thee same effect.

I think VERSIONs more than Series

So MK1 Gun is similar to the basic whilst 2 is more refined version like

Game X 0.01 is alpha (version one) 0.5 is beta (version 2) 1.0 is gold (version 3) 2.0 is what oit's meant to be (final version)

All 21 Definitions

Wow, it didn't give a definition applicable for the current context, but I got some interesting ones:
An English and Scottish monetary unit that was equal to 13 shillings and 4 pence.
Any of several European units of weight that were equal to about 8 ounces (227 grams), used especially for weighing gold and silver.
A deutsche mark.
A markka.
The unit of monetary account of the German Empire, equal to 23.8 cents of United States money; the equivalent of one hundred pfennigs. Also, a silver coin of this value.
Seems to refer to currency.

In this context, it's referring to a specific number in a series. In the case of the Vengeance weapons (cause they sound so koo), Vengeance Mk I is the first in the series, then Vengeance Mk II, and lastly Vengeance Mk III.

Well, in the context of FL it means Mark as in next in a series.
