@ dragonborn your gun stats are innaccurate
but to correct them here would be a spoiler
i suspect you refer to 1 or 2 other guns of a similar type to promethius though as that would be accurate

When you get good at freelancer and you can get a class 10 ship in just over a hour, you will find the game a bit more borin, do what i do and try out all the ships! even though they might not be as good as a titan or a sabre there still fun to mess around in, then create your own ships and go on a rampage wackin batttleships and Alcatraz! fun!

I know its late to put this point in, and it echoes what the third post said (i think).

Play storyline.

play storyline again.

Go online to a busy server and play.

Join a clan

Play more and more online until you know all weapons/ships/NPC's/bases/systems etc etc.

Once you have done that, then start with mods. UNTIL that day, don't touch the things. Seriously - you should be able to get around 2 months of pure enjoyment out of FL by playing up to 3hours a day without any trouble. Only after that time, then try mods - and start small for christ sake - like one ship or something.

The recommendation to "try this mod" and then mentioned a mod of considerable size is the one sure way to kill your game in under 2 weeks.

When you get bored of playing online, play the storyline again - i musta played it about 15 times already

Hi! Welcome to the forums. I'm new here too.

ah, well I'll forego the niceties and get straight to the advice.

If ya can't eat it, Don't kill it.

I haven't got a single clue what the heck this has to do with the game, but it's saved countless lives of bill collectors who've come to my door over the years.

Man chips! Did you really last that long before modding? I only lasted 2 plays of SP before I cracked it open.
