Yes, there's more to these forums than general Freelancer discussions and we try to keep a tidy ship around here by keeping topics catagorized to a point.

why do you think i posted this in the general forum? hmm, maybe because nobody reads any posts here? there's like 100 times as many people in the general forums than there are here, bleh.

As a moderator you could at least be A LITTLE helpful and actually answer my question instead of sending my post to forum purgatory.

Please, I've been in this business of being a moderator here for a few years now. Don't attempt to define my job as a moderator. If you think I'm not doing my job correctly then there's always that avenue to express your concerns. Contact the web site owner Gibby and tell him all about it. Taking your concerns public like this will not get you anywhere and just upset people.

I moved your topic for good reasons. Forum purgatory? Well, if more people posted on the forums where people look for specific posts then there wouldn't be any forum purgatory's now would there.

Maybe we should revamp the whole site and have just one forum huh? Yea, that comment about doing my job wrong was a bit uncalled for.

Also, one of the the reasons why I didn't answer the question is because guess what, I don't know everything and others on here who will read your post (in the correct forum now) might be able to offer a much better answer than myself.

Posts don't dissappear on here, they just either die on their own or they get moved to where you have the best chance of getting useful responses.

did you actually read my post? it asked a simple question asking for the name of the beam weapon mod which is as general as you can get. It had nothing to do with technical problems or mod installation troubleshooting, which is where you sent the post to.

Sorry, but that's like asking for information about a spoiler in this forums, which is also a no no. "But I just asked a general question" arguements just doesn't fly.

Look, you came into my house, dropped your shoes wherever you wanted and then complained because I picked them up and put them in the closet where they belonged. I am doing my job here, moderating posts. If you don't like it then just don't drop your shoes at the front door anymore and we'll get along just fine.

Umm, this is the General Discussion Forum, isn't it. You're contradicting yourself .Anyway, out of memory, trying to argue with a mod is like arguing with the president, he'll just get his way anyway, no matter what you say. The you're asking/revealing a spoiler argument is pretty thin dont you think? given the fact that the mod i asked for has nothing to do with the storyline whatsoever. Did i tell you that i have a 12 year old brother that is a Global Moderator at the REALGM forums who has over 45,000 posts and has no life whatsoever. You kinda remind me of him. PS - Contact Gibby if you think you've been mistreated in any way. But I can tell you first mistake was voicing your concerns with the way I handled this situation publically. You registered almost a year ago, this shouldn't new news to you.
