Stuck on Level 8

Hi folks,
I'm new to Freelancer and playing through it for the first time.I'm up to skill level 8,but I dont seem to be able to move on at all.I've done a ton of missions,now have 62k worth of credits,and have installed the patch.(I'm now in the New London Area).
Does anyone have any suggestions please? Thanks in advance,Blueshade.

Reinstall the game. The patch causes problems with the singleplayer. Once you don't have the patch anymore, you probably have to do a mission to advance to the next level.

if u playing for sp, all u need is to do some mission until Junis need u

There are mods that can effect the single player, remove them all (im not sure about the patch) and then you should be able to do missions in order to get your rep up. Then juni will call you again and give you something to do!

Hey all!
I'm currently in the same predicament, except I have around 90K >_< I've downloaded the unofficial 1.4 patch though, should I uninstall then reinstall everything?

The patch is only needed for MP game.

What I was really worried about was having to go back through and do over from my previous save? I have it saved at where you get the option to get a new ship.. O_o

I shall re-install everything, thanks
