i dont know why they did change em either, those early versions of jumptunnels may not have worked properly, but they still had it sourced then, but still, Those Jumptunnels would have been the best one, next to the green docking ring one, I think anyway

I could just drool over the early alpha version of the game because it had a joystick control with an elite type radar back in the old days.

Today, I was disappointed because they took out both.

Eventhough I still suck at twitch based combat.

why some of the sreen shots have different cockpit view ?

is that Frelancer mod or somthing ?

@Crosshair, please bother reading prior posts before posting a question that has a quite apparent answer already stated previously. They are OLD screenshots of the ALPHA & BETA of Freelancer, LONG BEFORE it was released to the public.

Actually that "Black Hole pic isn't a black hole... it's the Neutron star from Omega 41!

DAMNIT, I want the REAL neutron star back, not that piece of crap we have now!

Im sorry to dissapoint you, but that is no neutron star, Neutron stars are ticghtly packed matter, spinning rapidly (if you spin something rapidly in a game, or faster than the refresh rate, itd look wierd)
they are pretty much dead. They have a massive gravitational field.

Black holes, have such massive gravity, not even light each esacpe, but there are vents from black holes (that blue line) which is something i cant remember right now, this link should tell you

Not much. SOME of the resources are still there, but without access to an earlier build, they cannot be utilized.

yeah saw that, great work!, Can you email me and tell me how you did that?
i work more heavily with the solars, and have made quite a few things myself

Yeah they really did have a lot of good ideas. IMO, the tradelanes needed to be replaced with a better system..

And some of the stations needed more variety..

and there should have been more to explore in the game.. more anomalies.. black holes, jump tunnels..

hell i wish there was an EXPLORATORY SERVICE like in P1 only taken much further in this game.

I think theres plenty to explore in FL, just could have been managed better, i guess.
