good ideas, but still that did not answer the question how to beat good Eagle pilot (human) using Sabre/Titan, its realy hard even to point your guns at him and get a lock, and when I reverse thrus and want to shoot usualy in this second I lose my shields, and I can not get him ahead of me when I am after-burning to shoot missles or topedos at him, I use Ripper mines they just do not hit him.

Doom, when he's behind you, drop a few mines. That should force the player to evade, after wich you can turn and shoot at him.
Or when he's behind you, engage reverse thrust (default key X ), he'll pass you and you're behind him.
Use shieldkillers to drain his shield asap, and use a few missiles to kill his hull. All the while keep using your thrusters and make sure you don't fly on a predictable course. That makes it harder for him to aim.

I'm between servers at the moment. I stopped playing after my server (bob's gateway or something) went TNG and left my kick-a*s character behind. I tried again with a new server and my character "Dr. Kynes." After buying a dragon, the server went down again. Maybe I'm cursed. However, I once went falcon on falcon with another player, and won. And mind you he had high level sheild killers and I was still using the guns off my defender. --- VH16

Cool Story: I once had a dude fire a shot at me and it glance off my shields (friendly fire, we were both bored). I fire back one shot and took his sheilds off line. Next chat: "Holy sh*t"

One of my favorite manuvers is a simple hit and run but it only works in asteroid fields and clouds

you simply weave and manuver through the asteroids and when you can fly over him on afterburners while firing all guns, maybe drop a mine or two

it works because if they can't see you long enough to shoot they can't kill you

works really well in an asteroid field with gas in it

When im getting shot from behind, i slam my afterburner on and do a loop. In my dr*** i can easily get behind them by doing this.

Also, i try to surprise my enemies in the initial fly-by. I keep my reverse thrusters on until they start shooting, then afterburn straight past them, engine kill and shoot until they turn around, rinse, repeat.
