Was god mode achieved because you edited Freelancer or because of the TNG 1.8 teaser mod thingy?

God mode? how did you do that?
Screwing with the game might cause it to malefunction. You might wanna reïnstall, or install the patch1.1. Or is that bad advice?
Ahw hell, I bet that's your problem. did you install the patch V1.1? that's the problem, not the god mode.

Why'd you mod the game before you maxed out on your level? It should still be fun in it's original state. Relax, as long as he's not cheating in MP, there's no problem. Hey I cheat in various SP games, after finishing it, or when I'm really stuck.

It's just that I've been playing the game unmodded for months now and I still find it fun to sit in front of a trade lane and kill anything that moves. Cheating is just a perversion of the game. Others feel differently, fine. I just think that the game is still fun in it's original state at least until level 38. --- RR16

I've played it both unmodded and modded, both online and offline. I can say I liked each version, tho the mods do extend the payability of FL greatly.

I think it would be a shame not to give it a try.

Ask again there and you'll get an answer for sure.
Just make sure you dont ask what the best ship is. That's a little sensitive subject ever since two forum regs got in to a major argument about it. One said Starflier, and the other said Patriot and things got pretty intense.
Well, long story short, last thing we heared of them had something to do with trunks and axes, not realy sure tho
