A plea for help!

I have recently tried to play FReelancer af6ter using the bugged beta 7 of FLMM. It crashed. I got Beta 6 and reinstalled. The screen shows up, but when I do a new game, it crashes. No mods on. No error, just crash. I tried uninstalling, then installing, no go. Used FLIA, It might have found errors, please ask for the log. Used the FE duplicate checker, it found some duplicates. Please ask for the log. The one thing I noticed is that each time I reinstall or uninstall/install, the options stay the same. This leades me to suspect PrefOptions.ini, but it seems to have no error and even if so the reinstall/uninstall would take care of it wouldnt it? Please ask for the logs or send me a saved game at the beggining with no mods, loading might work. The only saved game I have is Restart.

System specs:
1. Pentium 3 550mhz.
2. Maxi Gamer Xentor 32 vid card.
3. 312mb RAM.
4. Windows XP Professional.
5. 10gb Hard Drive.
6. LAN (Local Area Connection) Internet w/ Road Runner.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Do a complete uninstall of Freelancer and the mod manager. Make sure the folders are deleted. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer
and C:\Program Files\Freelancer Mod Manager
and My Documents\My Games\Freelancer for your saved games.
Then do a reinstall of both Freelancer and the Mod Manager.

Damn, that looks like the lightning in a stupid old Spectrum game, where you were racing forward in the dark blasting all sorts of odd looking creatures that popped up, bounced around and shot at you. The game had no point except to see how long it took you to get killed. Anyone remember the name? Who says games haven't improved sine the '80s?
