I was at google search engine and found that there isn't evan a website for the company Digital Anvil. I mean wtf, the last game that DA ever comes up with is this Freelancer and there is no news of them working on another game ever since. Is DA closing down? going bankrupt? You all do not seriously think the company is still able to pay the salary of its staff from the sale of freelancers, don't you?
if you go on the DA website it doesn't work! it directs you to the http://www.microsoft.com/games directory with a list of "up and coming microsoft games? wtf?
ive always liked the way PCZONE described freelancer:
I don't think we'll be seeing much more of Digital Anvil if Microsoft have anything to do with it.

Freelancer has had more changes of leader than an Italian government and more restarts than a 100m sprint race run by hyperactive 9-year-olds after a sugar injection!

Apparently I was wrong. The last game developed by DA is not freelancers, but the X-box game 'Brute Force'. It is interesting to see DA is capable to making non-space simulation games too. Brute force is not a new game, it was released may this year.
And i still do not know why DA does not have an official websit of its own. It is not true that game companies working for m$ will not get their own website. hughbiggame, also a company working for m$, which developed 'rise of nation', has a website.

Wow, after being here so long I forget others may not always be up to speed.
Digital Anvil was headed by Chris Roberts. He decided to pursue other interests and Microsoft bought Digital.
