Questions

are there planets in the modded singleplayer game (sp player game + open mod) that can't be visited /only visited in campaign game ?

same for bases and ships?


same for planets/ships/bases...

which patch does add all items to one base (like planet manhattan or battleship Missouri?

sorry - mission created solars are things made for missions. The statements that look like this:
Li01_01_base are reffering to base files - which is what lets you go inside an object when you dock. In fact - you cannot dock with an object unless it has that feature just there - a base file, as it refers to it in the ini fils as:
dock_with = Li01_01_base
base = Li01_01_base


So what the above post was showing, was a stack of bases that are made solely for the purpose of the story - like the research station willard, the base on planet sprague. However, mods can recreate bases again. I have made sparague dockable with a base, albeit its not the one in the story due to clashes with the story - but the dockring is round the other side. You can in fact have more than one base at a planet, as my mod shows where 1 planet has four docking rings. Go through the north dock - its bretonain base, go through the east - its kusari, west - liberty and 'south' is the rheinlanders - each with their stuff to sell.......kinda neat huh?!

As for is it possible to recreate the planets - no planets are lost in the story - and also, if you link jumpholes or jumpgates - or just open them back up again, you can in fact get to the systems used in the story. I went to the last one expecting nothing to be there and got raped by nomads instead, so they are already funcioning systems (not just activated for the storyline).

Hope that is a little more enlightening, as i posted just before bed last night! . The smell of early mornings and strong coffee are great!

I also have a thread in the tutorial forum for people who experience crashes when modding. Its a kinda troubleshooting for those with problems, but no-one to answer them!

In jobs how far go those jobs? at level 10 you fight against small bases with weaponsplatforms...What are the categories of a job? Did somebody have made a mod that changes such missions/jobs? Did some jobs have you face you a battleship or freighter or is only accomplished in raiding yourself transports ?

What is considered "countraband" in the liberty systems?

erm - there are battleship killing missions in some mods yes, which can be at whatever level - infact - if you wished, you could make a mod where battleships did tradelane disruptions! Now - as for the text, it would still say go kill ships here - so you wouldn't know what to expect - that is cause its a kinda cheating mod to get it done. You make the game believe its fighters it is sending you up against, whereas its actually battleships bristling with the largest cannons ever, that you will get dusted by. However, Accushot found some stuff out a long time ago about adding objectives to the storyline - so i will take a peek and see what may come of it.....
