Stuck lvl 18

Hmmm..guys, I really need help.... I'm stuck on level 18, and it seems that something bugs the game...as you can see on the picture, I'm worth more than it's required for next level..and it is like that for past 5 hours of playing.. Whenever I earn something, my next level requirements increase a little, but they are always below current worth... I have no idea what could cause this, but it really pisses me off.. And, when I load any previous save it says that next level requirement is mission ( what mission ??!?! (I finished the storyline)), then I do some stupid mission, and my next level reqs are again back like in the pic...
And here is the picture :

Now, is there any way for me to advance, ,can this be fixed ?? I would really hate to play all again from start....please, if anyone knows - HEEELPP... !!!

after the campaign it changes from wat ur worth needs to be to advance, to how much money u have left before u advance

If you do start over, it's kind of fun to try different types of ships. You'll find the early missions ridiculously easy, now that you know the controls. But the higher missions can still be a challenge even the second or third time around.


p.s. Be careful to save any games when you try different ships. Otherwise, the auto save will wipe out your current game! Happened to me when I had an Eagle and over 3 million credits.

Can't happen... I'm backing up any game saves every few days. Learned that also the had way.
