you dont its just a reference to your ship being identifiable
i suspect that changing your ship is not necessary either
though at that point you have a better choice than before

Actually, the Bounty Hunters are still on your tale until you change ships. Though I tend to shoot them on sight so its no big deal for me.

Any Britonian ship is better then most Lib ones, so you better get a new ship

I was flying a patriot and rather liked it. But I figured I'd better upgrade anyway. Don't know how I did it, but I got the BH p*ssed off at me and attacking me in every system anyway. After a while I got tired of killing off the silly sods every time I went somewhere. Then just as puzzlingly, the BH suddenly turned neutral. I suspect the BH hits cardamine pretty heavily too ...

bounty hunters r made off prisoners...

so crims/pirates who captured can choice between prison and being a hunter...
why do u think that the hunters have bad ship anyway... if they give them to powerfull ships they attack the homeworlds even harder then before...

if some hunters pilots where before outcast then they must get their cardamine... how do u think they get cardamine if all outcast ships have a cardamine load on board for their own...

look at the sardaukar of the empire in dune... sardaukar r made of the best prisoners... prisoners from the prison-planet seluna secondus... how do u make the best men for war... to train them in the hardest place u can ever get...

criminals/pirates in heavy armed systems r very hard to kill, co'z they know how to handle and know how to know the other down... why do u think that the fremen on arrakis (dune) r also good fighters, they have a hard terrain and they know that the harkonnen killed only the fremen they get... so the best stay and get kids... the best kids stay and the other r killed by the trainings or by the enemy (harkonnen)...

if u start u can be a better pilot by challange cops outside manhattan in the starflier and take rochester base as home... later u can land on buffalo and then the fun begins... traderoute to manhattan and pirating the backway... and by the first mission u take the dagger as ur ship... the most start later with pirating...

Except when hes Colonel Trent of course.

I never really understood what the hell was going on in that bit of the story anyway.

Simple enough ... and since we're being bad and spoiling a bit anyway, the good guys get made high ranking occifers so they can order the proles about on missions.

Now I'll go hide before we get our knuckles rapped ...
