FIrst of all shouting in topic names is both annoying and against the rules, so please refrain from using it. There is a topic here that explains the rules for new users like yourself.

Also I believe that there are numerous topics on this, plus the people on these boards are fans, not the makers of Freelancer, so have no idea if an expansion is being planned.

No, we are not planning to make a sequal.
Seeing that the production of Freelancer took over 6 years, we decided not to continue with Freelancer or make a sequal of any kind.
We are currently putting all our efforts in a new great game called Newby: Read The Stickies wich will be out summer 2005.

I hope you like the game.

Welcome, nobody knows for sure, depends on the sale of Freelancer on a little more than just the short term. And guys - don't trash the n00bs. Thanks!

Lots of mods are planned.
However, we're having trouble raising the AI.
