Yes I have seen that guide before which is why I asked. I am intending on putting as much info in mine as possible, including the full descriptions of bases and of the commodities and stuff, and pictures and maps and everything, I don't know what the Lancer's Reactor guide is planned to be though.

Also I was intending on doing mine as a Compiled HTML Help FIle so that it is available for download, and if i can uploading it to Lancer's Reactor.

Also i'm not intending on discovering anything new, this would be more of a central location for all the information, and most of it will be extracted directly from the game

Why should this topic be on the spoilers forum?

I haven't said anything about the game at all, just that I'm planning a guide, I havent' spoiled anything.

I think its a great idea....I think the more of these sort of guides the better...everybody brings their own perspective to the game, so as long as it contains new info/ideas then why the hell not.

Maybe we should call you Zaphod.

I have a feeling that this is just the start of many improvements to the site thanks to many hard-working community members. This is an important task and I think it's a great idea! You should start immediately. Immediately, I say!

Thanks everyone, and yes I was considering having it in several formats including PDF, if I can find some free software to convert it into a PDF file.

Also if anyone has anything they would like including, simply say so and I will include it and give full credit, this guide will be by the people, for the people.

Ok I thought maybe now I would announce it on the main page, so that people will know and if anyone has any ideas or wants to help out in any way (it won't be an easy task for one man, even one with 2 heads) they can.

Could anyone tell me if I would be able to do this and how? I'll have a look around the board as well.

Look up and download something called "Bittorrent", it may be able to help you with aquiring "reasonably priced" PDF creation software. As for the "how" on "how to do this" PDF is really the best way, make it like the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, an electronic book with pages (PDF, sorta). Table of contents, links to go down the document, it could be something really quite remarkable.
