They're not really in a system or in the game at all.

One of them looks a lot like one of the planets in the Texas system though. The other one looks like Planet Stutgard I beleve.

The Titan Flies Like A Cow

I always thought that was a damn shame. They are some of the coolest looking things in Freelancer, why they only used them for the menu screens is quite beyond me.

If you miss them a lot, you could make a mod to put them in the game somewhere. There are some rather empty systems.

I always thought the fiery one looked like Planet Schutz but Schutz doesn't have any moons/planetoids near it like the menu planet. The menu with the weird rocks reminds me of the stuff seen in Tohoku.

There is a nice view of a planet when you see the launch screen from Junyo. It shows a nice looking up aspect of the night sky.

The ice field one is cooler...I wish there was a field like that, with asteroids you could fly through.

There are a few asteroids you can fly through.
Jump from Omega 5 to Cambridge via the jumphole and look around in the ice field just on the Cambridge side. There are 3 or 4 large ice chunks with holes you can fly through.
Do it backwards, at speed 138, all the while chanting "i am a goat" and you get a free ice cream maker
