need help asap

when i want to start freelancer i get this message

freelancer does not recognize your 3D video card.
Freelancer may have trouble running.

would you like to continue?
YES NO


Perform this check every time the application runs?


my video card is a ATI Radeon 9600 TX


need help plz when i play the game everything lags :/

possibly a driver issue
but try the technical forum this isnt the ideal place

That is a pretty nice card, strange it lags. Make sure your resolution is not jacked up to unreasonable levels and that you don't have any other programs running in the background. For further help, try the tech issues forum.

I think that it did that to me the first few times I tried to run it...I don't notice any problems with mine, ATI Radeon 7500 64m...in fact, it runs better than most of the games I own atm...

i get that same message.

but the game works just fine for me.
i have an nvidia geforce 2 MX 200

I had that same message. I just said don't display again.

I have a ATI AIW Radeon 7500 and it plays Freelancer with the highest Graphics and highest resolution.

It works this well because of my 1Gb of 2100 DDR ram.
