I read the "best ship" thread, such as it was, and hoped this might be a "best gun" thread.

I realize that new users will actually have questions on this topic (vs. older users who have flaming opinions), but is there any chance that the "best ship" and the "best gun" issues will get added to the FAQ?

Obviously a search of the database hasn't helped me much.
