Freelancer sequel news!

I have heard from a 'friend' that in the sequel to freelancer(unknown title)
the main storyline will revolve around humans on earth being enslaved by robots, and the only 'free' humans left alive in the solar system are in ****y places like europa.
This war has been happening pretty much since the colony ships left but it seems three coalition colony ships had been sent somewhere in the galaxy at the same time as the ones seen in the original.
Well the remaining coalition ships and troops where left in rag tag bases on mars
and europa, when earth was 'assimilated'.
So the coalition has been trying to retake earth ever since.
Has any one else heard anything about freelancer 2?
