the admin of the server you played on might be able to help you
i doubt it though as it would be a lot of work
i wouldnt even try as a refusal often offends

the server dosent have the full mp code, so no. we cant help, well not as far as i know

You raise an interesting question to me but not about the code but the virus. Did you get a virsu from a mod you downloaded or an attack at you and not running a firewall or was it something else outside Freelancer?
I use a software firewall and have had no problems so far. But you never know!

if a code in a program is wrong (maybe by wrong install (u can't do something about it)), then the program can have a virus with it...

if u gonna be a programmer now aday, u may learn how to create virusses to understand them, and know what to do to protect ur computer with a code from that virus...

a virus is nothing more then a code, just like the protector of that virus... but some need space for that code... (mostly config.sys and autoexe.bat, but the nasty will go inside the coomputer start program)

if u have a good virusscanner u may be able to search for virus-explanes, like what they do, how much space they need, in what program they wanna go to and all...
