nomally I won't open an old thread, but I've seen the cruise disrupter hit. first time I played the mission. king says Got him! ok Trent,.....somethin somethin...but good point...how can he fire one if he doesn't have one?

you don't even need a CD to let somebody stop if there in cruise just schoot or a shoot a missle you only need to damage them. then they allready stop

Info on Juni's defender as mentioned earlier, it is a different class (it's got a retractable tail fin for one and can mount level 6 guns). I think it's similar to the prototype defenders you see later in the game. As for king and his cruise disrupter, maybe he forgot to install one and just pushed a button that did nothing. Since Ashcroft got away, he automatically assumed he missed instead of not firing. Incompetant, instead of super incompetant. --- VH16

This isn't really on topic, but striker has a point about AIs with stronger weaps or more weaps. e.g., piranhas/barracudas/stilletos with turrets. Back on topic. I've never seen a cruise disruptor fired at that part. but i have killed ashcroft and left king 2+ kloms behind me.

I once dual torped him and he screamed for a sec before it went to the missions failed

i shot king ones and he exploded but i did it after the mission was over and he wanted to go to fort bush and when king needed to be in the mission he was'nt there and also not in the cut scenes.

One thing that I've noticed. Juni and King switch around ships a lot. Example: When you are running in mission 4, you go to West Point, and when you look back, King is in a Defender. Example 2: In the latter part of the missions, Juni switchs ships a lot. In one mission she is in her Defender, the next shes in an Anubis, then she's back in her Defender. It is weird.

There's nothing in the mission INI file about King actually launching a cruise disruptor. And I've spent enough time studying them, eh Orillion?
