The Reactor''s Download Server
This really isn't a flame, it's more of a plea. I've been playing Freelancer for about 2 weeks now and for the past 5 days I've been trying to download one ity bity file (FL ini Editor v2 464.23K
. Now I can understand that the server has limits of concurrent downloads but this is really getting frustrating.
5 stright days of trying to download a file at verious times during the day and Nadda, Zip, Nothing. I appreciate the attempt of the site to be a "one stop" shopping area for everything Freelancer. But the server just can't handle the download traffic, the membership has just grown too big for it.
PLEASE give us a second source for downloads like "fileplanet" or something. At least there we'll have a 50/50 chance of getting the file we want within 24 hours.
Geesh...I hate that my first post has to be a whine.
