@ Warbringer Naw, those lvl 30 missions are just target practice for warming up - even a Crusader can do those. It's the lvl 35 missions where the Anubis shows that it has more oomph than the other class 6 heavy fighters.
And firepower is no problem at all with an optimal weapon loadout (there is only one optimal combo) and if you know how to use Starkillers properly.
In the thread
Order Ship over in the Spoiler Forum there are some more posts extolling the virtues of the Anubis.
From the ship info card:
Though it is not an easy ship to fly, in the hands of a skilled pilot the Anubis is unbeatable.
When I first flew the ship the Outcasts and the Corsairs handed me my *ss on a platter - I lacked both the skill to handle a heavy fighter properly and the knowledge to select decent weapons. In fact, not knowing better I had equipped the worst guns that exist in the game (the ones that you can loot during the campaign and that shoot green bolts) ...
A couple of weeks ago I decided to take the Anubis out for a spin because I had not flown it since the first time through the campaign. I got it from level 18 to level 38 in under five hours, and more than half of that time I spent driving around to adjust my reputation and to obtain the equipment I wanted ... When I had done that I went to a place with decent missions and earned $2 million in 2 hours (killing 174 Stilettos and 92 Sabres
). The Anubis can earn money even faster but I took a couple of lower-paid missions from another faction to keep my reputation from becoming too unbalanced.
