today's date is 7/27/03

now what is the date currently in the world of freelancer? i know its 800 years after they left the war as the intro says, but what date did they leave the war, get to sirrus, the date of the 80 year war, etc etc.?

Well, the intro says the 5 sleeper ships were launched in the 23d century. So in terrestrial time, Freelancer would be in the 31st century. I don't think a precise year is ever given in the game. They date everything in the Sirius system after the launch of the sleeper ships.

a precise time wasn't given but it was like the ships where launched 800 years agoa and the date is as 760. somthing like that which means they where traveling for like 40 years or so at least thats how i understood it (which my understanding has been really wrong before)

Starlancer's Sol War started on 2160. Add 100 years of war, then 800 years of travelling to Sirius and colonizing it, 32nd century is about right.

ok lets see so 2160+100=2260+800=3060+760 yea 32nd centry but the narator said after 100 years of war 5 sleeper ships are lanched .... ect....ect.... ect... that was 800 years ago we have grone...... ect......ect.....ect.... so wehre in there do you get the ships were traveling for 800 years cause the narator was in the curent time in sirus which is as760 something well at least near it so if the current time is 800 years after they left then they where only in flight for 40 years
