how can we change hardpoints number?

he i wanted to know if any1 knew how to increase the hardpoints number and make them usefull. i mean not only writed on the ship's info card but realy increase the hardpounts number.
and another thing: how can we change the ship's color?

Hardpoints number

Do you mean the maximum level each hardpoint can take?

I don't know how to change the color of the ships. In TNG mod, the Starflier, eagle, startracker, are all different colors than normal so you might want to ask them how to do it. Or better yet, ask these questions in the General Editing or Editing Tutorial forums.
