Has anyone been able to use the ''p'' key?

Okay, in the book, it says you can press 'p' to hail. But I cannot seem to be able to do that. So I looked in the keybindings but no luck on finding what it is, or isn't binded to.

Any Ideas? Did anybody get it to work?

It works for me just gota target a ship frist though cause if there is no ship slected to hail then your not gona hail one

I have tried. I could be right next to the target then press it, but nothing happens. When I press the hail 'button' I will get the response. But not till then.

1st of all, you don't have to use that tone. I know there is a button on the screen, but the book says you can press p. It would be a whole lot easier to use.

When I was playing on LAN, it worked maybe 25% of the time (I got to the point where I'd hammer the key five or six times real quick). SP, I've never gotten it to work.
