Shouldn’t be Corsair are the savior?

The Corsair should be respected not as crime faction. Didn’t they keep up from the Nomads, the gatekeeper (ie the jumphole keeper). Since their homeworld was the edge of the world; Omicron Gamma to Unknown jumphole & unknown system. The Corsair distribute the best ship; Titan, in order to protect mankind. The “Grave of the Innocent” probably historical rage wars between human and the Nomads.

What u will say ?

Huh?

I second that Puke...

Um, wasn't the Order faction the keeper of mankind? I didn't see the Corsairs protecting the president If the Corsairs are 'guarding mankind' because they live in the same system than an unknown jumphole then so would the Outcasts, but all they do is hook the youth of Kusari on cardamine

The same as Puke Barwalker... what are you on about?

Saviours of mankind? Isn't it going too far? I respect them AS crime faction and that's enough.

If they were the saviours of mankind, then why did everybody bother poor old Trent and Uzo???

If they were really out to help people, I imagine they would consider selling a ship that would be a bit more maneuverable than your average flying elephant.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

Well, there's a Rhino, why not an Elephant!

Hmm. Yep, it would have been an interesting game if you just walked around Manhattan because you don't have a ship while the Corsairs save the world.

Or maybe not.

Well, of cost the Order was born to assassinates or against the Nomads

At least the Nomad must through Corsair at the front line if Nomad invades via Omicron Gamma system. Even, IF the Corsair fights for their survival that may be the key to protecting the other mankind.

Just don’t take serious one for flame war, probably my judgment affected because I love them since I miss with Casper Orillian faction.

THe cosirs don't believe in the nomads talk to the people at the bar. The outcast's do the idea is that the young cosirs may get killed by the radation before they get there atifact.

I just almost had a heartattack!

@Gus, how could you do this to me?
Just mentioning in passing:

>>Escape Velocity:Nova is finally out for PC!

Are you nuts? Do you know what that does to my blood pressure?

I am waiting now for four years for something roughly escape velocity - like to come out for Win-engines.
And I almost missed it!
I looked at the title of this threat. I just clicked on it to see if the typos ("Shouldn’t be Corsair are the savior?" Whats that supposed to mean?) continued. I almost didn't read further because they didn't. Then I almost overlooked your sig, because of the nice picture. Then I thought... wait... my subconcious is yelling at me at maximum volume. What might that be.....? Wait a second.... Escape.... Velocity...heard that before.... whats that behind it..... windows?... not THE windows? ..... that can't be true... clicked the link....
Went absolutly bananas.

ARGH, to just imagine I might have missed it gives me the creeps!

So, basically, thanks for letting me know :-)
I owe you a beer at least.....

later edited: this is of course very off-topic of me (Sorry). 18% download so far! Break out the champagne!

Loved Elite, loved Escape Velocity (got an old Mac just to play it) and love Freelancer...

I can't appreciate a savior of mankind if they ruthlessly kill that which they protect.

Corsairs are the worst of all the criminals! Even the Outcasts are doing what they do because they have to, Corsairs are brutal pirates, nothing more. They even enjoy being evil.

Not that there's ANYTHING wrong with that though!
