Little Advice 4 Newbie 2 Reactor on Level 21

I could use a little advice if you have a second.

I'm on level 21 and the game has been great up till now. I seem to be in a slow spot. I am able to search the universe but only find missions that pay squat. I have been from end to end and im getting bored!

I need to know where to go to find big paying jobs, buy a better heavy fighter and some better class weapons. im not sure who to pay off "to be on friendlier terms to buy this weapon" and when does the story pick back up?

I have gotten this far without cheats or reading any spoilers.(a few ship wrecks though) i have about 214,000 credits on level 21 flying the Angus heavy fighter Orillion gave me.

also i cant always find the ship wrecks where they are supposed to be.
should i beat the game first before flying on multiplayer?
thanks for your patience and advice!!

The story line is over, so go play on Multiplayer.

Allright! the end was cool but it did not seem final. I guess thats the point of the game. Thanks for the post i may have been playing for weeks wondering why Juni doesnt call anymore...

I only seem to be able to go to the places on my nav map and im at work now but i dont remember seeing a Leon/crete system or planet. Do i meet a corsair somewhere and pay for the infomation and the reputation boost or am i just overlooking it?

see you in battle on line sometime soon,

the way i became neutral with corsairs was... do some missions against Red Hessians (for Rheinland police/military factions)...

...if you manage to get neutral go straight to Leon Base - D5 ( Omega 41) if you get asked to "drop cargo" by a Corsair on-the-way then give them the cargo, when you get there bribe a Corsair member so you can attempt missions

...if you kill lots of Red Hessians and the Corsairs rep bar doesn't move towards neutral anymore then you need to go to a base that is not owned by Corsairs, but has Corsair member there and bride your way in a good rep... try:-

Islay Base - F3 - Edinburgh
PL New London - D6 - New London
Helgoland Station - D6 - Sigma 13 (nearest to Rheinland space)

to name a few

There are something like 45 systems, not counting some strange ones off in that green stuff on the right of the map. :-)

Only way to get to the outlaw systems and borderworlds is through jump holes. You have to find them first. (Try looking in cloud fields, debris fields etc.)

p.s. A system will not appear on your map until you have been there. Same with bases.
