I've completed story (well a while back)... i'm currently running around with the Corsairs...

how about, someone making up some challenges, that dont require a mod or restarting SP...

???

The Biggest challange involves starting SP over.

CHALLANGE: Complete Freelancer with a light fighter
BONUS: Complete in a Starflier.

on compleation: Get a Screenshot of inventory with 'FIND A JOB' in the background.

I dunno if anyone here agrees, but I think it'd be harder to fight in some freighter, even with their thick hulls.

Yeah well this has gotten kind of off topic here, but it would be cool if someone could actually design suplmentary missions (especially if they could work in an already existing game), since I myself in my original game was with the Corsairs. I liked making the big bucks they offer as rewards (espcially on the home planet) but it would be soooooooo much better if you could actually fight, and make progress in that war against the Red Hessians they talk about so much.

Ok you want achallenge get a light or heavy fighter become worst enemys with the outcasts and corsairs and try to fly to the titan and sabre homewotld of the omegas and omicrons!!!!!!!

Ya I think doing the SP in a freighter would be harder than doing it a Starflier. Cuz all you can have are turrets and 3 guns plus the shields suck for frieghters.

B.S....

I could beat the game eaisly in a freighter.
Reasons why its harder with a Starflier
1.The starflier has 1100 HULL
2. Shield and weaps- Maximum of level 3, I think.
3. You can use turret view (h by defult) in a Freighter.
4. Try playing The Next Gen mod and try to do it in a starflier. THAT IS HARD! -If your shields go down against the cap ships, 1 shot and your dead.

5.Need I go on?
