On my drake i have

1 x Borroco (Pulse)
1 x Tarantula (Particle)
1 x Sunblast A (Photon)
1 x Dragoon Type 3 (Tachyon)

That way, no matter the shield type, it drops quick enough

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.

Lasers - I like high refire rates. Recently I've found shield-buting guns very handy.

depends what I'm doing:

Player Escorting: Nomad blasters / skyblasts - for quick take down of NPC's but not over kill for friendly fire when a lot of other Friendly factions in the area

PvP / Player hunting: Blasters, 1 TDC , 1 Skyblast if laggy at all or twin TDC's if none.

I like Neutrons.

Good damage, reasonable fire rates, very good power efficiency.

Plasma is good too.

Laser and Tachion for me too.
And particle is fine as well.
Basicaly just any gun, as long as they have the same speed.

I like matching all my ranges and muzzle velocity. I usually try to get weapons of different types so that I atleast get a little damage bonus to some shields but matching those 2 factors makes a harder punch when you hit. And if you can keep 'em on your enemy, he drains pretty quick.

my titan has the tel el dizon (whatever) 1250 shield damage, 4 nomad cannon, 850 hull damage and the cannonball missile, and a reaper II turret (but thats getting changed soon).
Although the nomad weapons fire slowly, they use no energy so i can fire constantly if need be, But i only fire accurate shots anyway, unless i get mobbed then my panic mode switches in and i shoot, move ,turn like a madman on speed, but thats rare.

u dont grind them down you just hit em once or twice and pop they gone
