shipping crashes

with all the cargo trains etc slamming into planets and the military fighters smearing themselves across the planets as well, how long do you all think the economies and militaries would remain viable?

dont blame me about posting this in off topic, after all you have been moaning about the lack of serious discussion

I don't think the economy of Sirius is supored to be realistic. I think the cargo trains and such are ther for your entertainment. Just to give you something to do...
I mean, can they really make profit? They get hacked so much that the costs for exports to provide them with security must be sky high.
And on bases you can buy cargo for the same price as you sell them, would they make any profit that way?
I'm no economic, so I'm probably wrong here. I was just wondering about that.

I think they'll be alright if they invest a litlle in the training off pilots.

lesson 1: what do planets look like?
lesson 2: how to steer a spaceship
Lesson 3: avoid flying into planets

i dont think the govts are too happy replacing fighters that cost $ 80,000 downwards and upwards of that when a whole bunch of them go surfing... and imagine the cost of the cargo ships

Sod the cargo ships, think of the cost of the cargo... Can you imagine 80,000 units of Diamond down the drain? At Leeds Diamond is about £1,215 isn't it? That's £97,200,000!!! I'm sure theres places where Diamond is worth more though...

If it wasn't for the inky blackness of the night you wouldn't appreciate the brilliance of the stars... or the little Liberty Rogue ship exploding nicely alongside you.

Ther seems to be an unlimited suply of everything. Doesn't it bring down the price on most valuable items such as Diamond/gold and such?

I keep repeating myself.
Myself, myself, myself

once upon a time, in a place far far away called development, the happy little people of DA considered such a thing, but the evil king of micro$oft came a long and kicked off the lead dev of DA and a lot of there ideas where fed to the kings pet dragon
