fuchu planetoid

in the shi***u system, you can see the rings of the fuchu planetoid from miles around, but when you go up to it, the planetoid is is invisible! i wonder whats going on here?

I couldn't find Fuchu prison at all, even though I have its exact location. Didn't even come up on my solars, and I know I was right on top of it. What's going on?

I posted about this before, I think the game developers need to have some sort of planetoid object in the game to create the rings around Fuchu prison.
To make as little an effect as possible they keep it small and invisible. It still comes up on your "radar" though and its kinda funny crashing into something in the middle of nowhere.

I actually asked recently on this forum the same question about the Fuchu plantoid... & I was told that it's suppose to be a planet that is forming from the rings ? :S

I also spotted it from across the other side of the shi***u system & flew over to have a closer look... only to find an "invisible" nav point call Fuchu planetoid. The prison was only a few clicks away from this nav point.

Well, whoever said "planets form from rings" deserves to be slapped with a cold squid.

It's the other way around-- Rings form around planets. Massive planets would break up captured asteroids and other objects through gravitational tidal forces and cause rings made of small pieces of rock or ice to form.

That's what I would have thought too....
