Are you a good guy, bad guy or neutral?

The question here is:

Do you play the honorable freelancer, taking jobs from house poilice and playing the mighty hero?

OR

Do you play the scavengous freelancer, taking jobs from rogue houses and pirate organizations playing a wanted criminal?

OR

Do you play a steady neutral freelancer, not loved nor hated by anyone allowing you to be a merchant AND smuggler?

POST UP!

Im a criminal.

I always play the good guy except when I get to higher levels I usually work for the corsairs against the outcasts and hessians.

I was a good guy all through the game, and for a while afterwards...until I realised that the baddies have the best ships, the best guns, the best bases and that every single one of them sounds like Dick Dastardly from Wacky Races...I couldn't NOT love them after that point! Don't you just expect them to say "Stop that snickering Mutley"? Oh yes, and a few other reasons: Crete. Malta. The Sabre. Wyrms. Cardamine. Dick Dastardly...

Why would I work for the Police? If any hostile ship other than pirate ship approaches me, and declares "I'm taking on Freelancer Alpha 1-1", the whole f*cking system is after me... So what's honorable about betrayal then? (I didn't start a fight, they did) "Criminals" would NEVER do such a thing,
Oh and the Bounty Hunters are low-life-cock-sucking-mother-****ing-ass-licking-stupid-idiot-scum! (just for the record)
Conclusion: Criminal (and a badass one too)

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

every house military and police faction is as in the red as i could get them... but i'm still working on rheinland's military and police. then there r all the hostile corporations... actually for awhile in rheinland there was only 1 place to dock because i was hostile with hessians unioners republican (which would get the police after me) and pretty much every corporation in the game. actually only pirate factions plus zoners r friendly to me. i've been trying to keep BHG neutral w/ me cuz i don't want to have to deal w/ BHG in every system i go to.

So in conclusion i'm a full blooded pirate... hopefully it doesn't say Xenos nxt to my name

Courage isn't the ability to fly head on into the jaws of death with an arrogant smile. Its the ability to run away from a couple of Xenos and face the laughter.

I'm basically a good guy. But if any cops or navy ships think they are going to get me to drop my artifacts, I get nasty!

If they had half a brain, they wouldn't attack a level 38 pilot in a ship that makes hamburger of them in 15 seconds. Then again, if they had half a brain .. they wouldn't be cops.

p.s. Bugged me a bit that my "friends" during the game suddenly become hostile right after I save their butts and all of humanity's. Same thing in Privateer II: I'm they heir to the criminal underworld gang leadership, but all of "my people" attack me anyway. Huh?

Well i'm kind of your typical Freelancer. I'll go around, and get my mits into any well-paid job against whoever's annoying me at the moment and maul them =). I also like to do some Manhatten=>New Tokyo trade and vice versa. So i'm kind of Neutral, but i like to have some enemies too.

Every system from level 1 and up I make sure to have every criminal green before i leave. if im in a hurry i take missions, if i like the area (kusari, galileo) I lane hack on pirate patrol routes so i can have some support. i try to test out multiple configs and really enjoy every area.

I just like living the shadows. theres something special about playing freelancer living life by the jump holes (i havent been through a regular jump gate in some time). I normally keep corsairs neutral until i have all the other rhineland criminals friendly, then i start hunting titans when i get close to/buy a saber. after that when i head up to omcrion alpha i declare holy war on those bastard bounty hunters...

y helo thar

Post Sun Jun 15, 2003 4:39 pm

for the record: i never do missions for the police because i want to be friends with those surrounding me when i go salvage things its hard to get level 10 weapons when you have some corsairs in their titans shooting at you

I do missions for the Corsairs and the Outcasts and kill every transport or train I see... thinking of starting a smuggling industry.

ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY CORSAIR!!!

I am a full blooded pirate, I kill my enemies and drink with my friends.

I think there was something funny in that hippie.
