I don't listen to the music in game but something like GTA:VC's radio would be a nice change

No doubt. This game needs radio stations like the game "Streets of Sim City." You could could change the channel on your car radio to listen to talk, country, rock, and other popular station formats. I just listened for the hilarious commercials that they played inbetween songs.

Heh, your right, that is a cool idea. Each house could have it's own news station which would cover all the stories you might read in the bars. Then you could have commercials for Synth Paste .
Maverickdan is right though, someone would have to take the initiative to record the hours of talking then splice it together with music, etc. so it probably isn't really feasible.

My favorite GTA station was on GTA III, Double Cleff FM. I can listen to opera and classical all day. The other stations got on my nerves. And GTA VC ... I lived through the 80's twice, I didn't really want live through them a third time.

So I would definitely say I need a station like Double Cleff to rely on:

Oh, and I offered this in another thread somewhere. It is completely impossible according to the current structure of the games programming, but maybe someday some game. It would be great to have a real time news update that alerts you to accidents, news, big events around the galaxy. So if you happen to be in an area in the news, you can go collect some scattered loot, before the Emergency craft arrive.

I'm sure a bunch of us could get together and do a Chatterbox style radio station
We'd need a script and a few people willing to record there voice for the phone calls as well as a "Lazlow", but I reckon its possible with a community this large.
