Nomads = Celareons?

Two things just clicked together for me. First, I seem to remember reading that Freelancer was set in the same universe as Conquest: Frontier Wars, as both were developed by the same people. Second, the Nomad ships look remarkably like Celareon ships from Conquest ... both blue. Both smooth and lovely. Both glow. Both use beam-like weapons.

So basically, could the Nomads be related to - or even be - Celareons? I mean, did we ever find out what the true name of the Nomads was? Hmm?

I thought so at first as well BUT there are quite some big distinctions between the two.The nomads aren't as advanced as the Celareons & the Nomads are basically biologically based creatures not energy like the Cels.Besides one was instructed to be more pacifistic{celareons} than being destructive{nomads}.

I think they are seperate. From everything we know of the Lancer universe storyline, I don't see where CFW could fit in. Besides, even if they were the same before, they definitely aren't since CFW got sold.
