juimp holes, and clydesdale

can you use jumpholes to places where you are denied acess to jump gates? like say from Cal. to cortez?
if so I am fairly certain that I can get to leeds and buy a "Clydesdale" and make about 62k doing it. I am only a level 4 which means I can buy it but it is a hell of a long trip to make in a rhino. Should I just settle for a rouges "mule" closer to home?

JumpHoles also give you the "access denied" routine. It sux, byt that's the way it is...

Well I an new to this game, and I have never used mods but that seems like it should be fixed. how can a thing of nature dein acess? Speaking of which what is the best mod to use? and how do I keep my current game going if I do use it?

Maybe your ship doesn't have the data on how to navigate a jumphole, so your ship's safety override cuts in and doesn't let you jump. When you get the jumpgate codes, they come with data on how to safely navigate jumpholes.
