I actually did some snooping around other Freelancer websites after posting this topic & found out that Quintane is actually voiced by Charles Shaunassey - "Mr Sheffield" out of "The Nanny"

So I guess I answered my own question in the end....
I gather that there will be a few Freelancer fans out there who will freak out by knowing that "The Nanny" is somehow connected to this great game :S

Oh.. also... this Aussie doesn't speak through their nose
