Has anyone played MP after done with SP ?

I kinda finished SP and then moved on to MP, now i have to start over again. My damn connection's too slow (just 56k!), and it takes me about half an hour to finish a level 2 mission! I'm just going to quit because of lags lags lags... Enemies jump from point to point in second, how the hell can u target them ?

I have the same problem, and i'm on cable. Maybe i should find better servers. I think thats my problem.

Personally I think npc's should be generated client side, for one that would take a load of the server and also it would remove the lag!

But they would, of course, Need to be synced between players.

though I don't play MP often, when I do i don't get much lag. You probably need to find a better server.

When are people going to learn that 56k is the dinosaur of ISP connections? Upgrade already.

I've played on MP with a 56k without too much trouble. Occasional lag but its bearable. Find a server with lower ping.

And for those of us like me who live 50 miles away from the nearest town with cable (let alone broadband) it's not possible to upgrade.

I'll probably try it out, on a non-PK server first to get the feel of it (the lag, that is). I do want to try PvP but I'm not looking forward to meeting cheaters, and getting blown out of space over and over by people who won't let newcomers get close the the edge worlds (and the good equips).

I feel bad for those using 56k. I can't imagine losing my cable..
