How would you rate your flight/gunnery skills?

Engine kill has got to be the best maneuvering tactic ever! I'm currently flying a Hawk equipped with 2 Kantos - class 5 - and 2 Wakizachis (spelling? It's too late at night to care about spelling!) - class 6 - and the engine kill allows you to run rings around your opponents...literally! It also looks damn cool too

Flight skills I'd rate as fair to good...gunnery probably good - I hate wasting energy!

Have flown the Starflier right through Omicron Alpha and successfully shot down 3 Sabres, looted most wrecks and went straight from Starflier to Eagle at Freeport 9.

In Multiplayer after 2 weeks in an Eagle I still have not been shot down by anybody and have hundreds of kills under my belt.

Yeah I can fly and shoot!

I would say my pilot skills were decent for someone who just bought their first PC. Ny gunnery skils leave a little to be desired but hey, whos dosen't.

I'd say my flight skills are pretty good, although i generally don't use the engine kill feature much, I tend to just afterburn up an enemies a$$ and give them a volley of shots from my rheinland plasma cannons + my turret which i can't remember the name of but it does 435 shield damage and 50 or so hull damage,
My gunfire is always spot on target so generally i don't miss using the slow moving plasma projectiles.
I use an eraser missile too, so that any enemy that comes straight at me gets the eraser in the face, then with their shields gone, I afterburn behind them and one click of the mouse later and their sucking space dust.
This tactic has worked for me throughtout the game, so i see no reason to change tactics now or ever, really.
I'm currently flying a falcon but thats about to change, maybe a sabre or titan next although the corsairs are a bit pi$$ed at me cos i destroyed one of their bases, gotta love that sunslayer torpedo.

On a scale of 1-10... Flight 7 / Gunnery 9
By default I choose slow & powerful weaps because I'm fairly accurate... 3 to 4 shots usually produce a hull breach... If not then I use thruster + sunslayer when I get tired...

Careful what you wish... You might just get it.

Would I be considered reasonably good if I said I could kill AI's in Sabres and Titans in a Patriot?

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
