Fun little gameplay quirks

Post whatever you've found that helps you out in combat or is just kinda fun.

I discovered while using Starkillers to take out capital ships in ReBalance, that a well timed afterburner boost can get a torpedo travelling faster than your average missle. Made it a little more interesting than seeing one giant line of torps. about to sail into one capital ship, haha.

Also, it's possible to get inside the front O of the Liberty cruiser (the one with the giant foward gun) and sit there moving with it. It's pretty entertaning if you screw up and bounce around it like a pingpong ball too.

i tried to do that, but half of the liberty navy was using me as target practice at the time

When you can't win, fly into a mine field / gas pockets.

Killing transports will NOT net you 20 000 of an item.

When low on health and shields, and running away, DO NOT EVER run into a jump hole. Whatever is on the other side will be a hundred times worse than what you ran away from.

Shoot the tangos you DON’T have targeted. They seem to get far fewer CPU cycles for evasion and combat. So they fly like bigger idiots than normal.
