very very heavy fighters

Is it possible for someone to make a mod that puts vvhf's into fl? that would be pretty cool...

The Humpback is already very, very, very, VERY heavy; only its firepower is a bit less than that of the very heavy fighters.

If you are looking for insane amounts of firepower try Michael Dan's Rebalance mod.

More factions need VHFs, and by the way, aren't there unused hardpoints on some fighters?

I noticed that too..

Lotsa hardpoints, in very odd places, that have nothing to mount.

As for sheer firepower, the humpback sporting gasminer guild weapons really lays down some heat.

How bout "Assault" class or "Corvette" class instead of "Very very heavy fighter"?

A ship with 3 class 9 gun slots, 5 class 10 gun slots, and 2 class 9 turrets would be sweet.

I think it would be cool to have a light fighter (f.e. Banshee 2) with just enough power and one hardpoint for a level 10 weapon. I think than at least you'd have a change when engaging 3 corsair titans.

I don't know.. I guess I just like doin it Sabre-style.

In the latest Rebalance mod, the White star is awesome, 8 heavy cruiser turrets on the wings and a heavy cruiser main gun that is bore sighted. it also has 4 class 10 gun mounts and 4 missle/torpedo mounts. 2 heavy sheild spots, and 50,000 armor. it's a battle ship killer.

And it can land on approx 0 planets and 0 stations!

Not completely true. If you go to this directory Freelancer\DATA\SOLAR\DOCKABLE and rename manufacturing_platform_lod_.sur to manufacturing_platform_lod.sur you will be able to land on planets with it. This basically allows the wings of the ship to pass through the solid rings, don't ask me how, it just works. It is still a little more difficult because the ship is bigger than a fighter but it works.

You're supposed to be able to land the whitestar if you turn on ghost docking rings in FLMM. Not tried the whitestar yet tho so dont know for a fact that it works.
