cruise speed

how do i increase my cruise speed?
someone told my that there is a file in the game directory that you can change your cruising speed.

all your base are belong to us

You need to modify the Constants.ini file in the ...\Freelancer\DATA\ folder; look for the "CRUISING_SPEED" entry, and modify it.
You will need an unpacker for the .ini files, get it here.
