Intro movie

I somewhat doubt that this counts as a spoiler. but hey, let's throw in a ****POTENTIAL SPOILER**** warning for it anyway.

Basically, can someone please tell me what happens in the intro? cos my pc can't handle the FMV. There may or may not be something after that, i dunno, but i still think there is something missing - i never found out that the guy stole the artifact from Sinclair...*shrug*.

Replies appreciated ;P

You probably want to check into your graphics drivers if you cant run the FMV.

Anyway, its a standard file, so you can run it in any media player and see it. Its not much to do with the game, just some background history on how the Alliance and the Coalition fought over the Sol system for 100 years, then the Alliance lost the war and launched 5 sleeper ships to continue their civilisation in the Sirius Sector.

The intro-as-shipped ends with when the colony ships arrive, the other intro you can download here has more to it, but I dont think thats still part of the plotline.

Original intro owns the as-shipped one...they cut out all the plot-relevent stuff in the final version and made it into an "oh, here's why we're calling this a sequel, even though it has absolutely nothing to do with Starlancer".

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

LOL. Nice Touch Nukeit. Yeah, they did cut out a lot from the original. I wonder why? Because now I see people saying the Coalition is still there. Freaking.
