What is the Nural Net?

What exactly is it? Is it some hand held computer? A computer in ur brain? What does it look like? How do people upload info to it?

Neural net implys its in the brain.

People would upload things to it using their own neural net and some form of wireless communication.

That's kinda the idea I had too. Just wondering if there any other theories out there.

The neural net is one of the incomplete features of the game.

Originally, Digital Anvil said that the Neural Net is what controls your ship, guides it through space, and navigates it.. It's how you fly, and includes star-charts, etc. They originally planned on having neural-net upgrades.. some that would have piloted your ship in combat while you just tell it your destination.. and shoot at the badguys... there was a whole lot of neat ideas originally posed with it..

however, it too was left out..

theres alot of stuff MSh!t promised for this game that was sadly left out.. not jus involving the neural net
