a good way to make quick cash is to get some really good guns and shoot the containers off storage depots...but but wary...run your ass off when you've tractored the loot in

Its also an easy way to make friends with pirates without pissing off the cops.

Just go to Deshima Station (Bounty Hunters) and shoot up their depots then fly to the Kusari battleship right next to it. Sell the loot and repeat. Soon every bad guy will like you and only your BH faction will suffer. Seems like crooks really believe you are a serious bad guy when you shoot some cans as opposed to murdering pilots.
