lvl 38. but that all depends...

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.

I am level 45, I have seen ppl with over level 70 ... but I play on elite, which runs the pre-release server patch from digital anvil.

atm the standart max level is 38.
with the next patch I guss it will be 99 ... or maybe even 255 ... no one I know reach so far the new max level

yep the max for sp is 38 but then why isnt the max in the mp 38? I figure it's because the creators of the game, microsoft, wanted, like all other mp games, it to be a game where there is no maximum level for multiplayer thus making all the players to try to stay above all the other players making a never ending chain of players trying to reach a level higher than the other players.

And to that I say what is the point, aside from bragging rights, from obtainning such lvls? Want them to let you fly Transports and other larger ships at those higher lvls. Would actually give you a reason for trying to get that high aside from your ego.

well a wise player knows that somebody can have a fully tooled-up fighting machine with fantastic weapons etc and still be around lvl 30... so anything above that is ego-feeding imho. but yeah, the single player max level is 38, so is the standard multiplayer max level. But the elite server is running a beta version of the server patch from digital anvil, which allows for much higher levels. Nobody knows what the limit is on there yet.
