That is great and i am sure it works although i am Hostile with the Hessians. if anyone could tell me where i could bribe them, then it would be a great help.

Actually, it's more important how your rep is with Corsairs.
Speaking from experience, as one who tried to fly his Humpback
to Freport 9 to buy his Eagle while Hostile with Corsairs!
Since Hessians are enemies of Corsairs, DON'T bribe them!

Heh,Heading through Omega 41 is like asking for a deathwish if your not friendly with the Corsairs.The very least flying a heavy fighter from Rheinland space whether Civilian or Rheinland Military should even up the odds a bit.


I did that & not only did almost everyone like me including hessians but also Outcast & Bounty Hunter rating went up quite a bit like 1/4 when I finally got to Freeport 9 .

Hi everybody! I've been reading the forums for a while, but felt it would be good to throw in my two cents on this one.

I like to do commodity runs for a while, at least until I have around 2 million in cash (at least -- the last time I rode it up to around 5). During this period, I run from every engagement and therefore need only upgrade shields and thrusters. I prefer the Drone, it's more maneuverable than the Humpback. The Dromedary is nice, but you have to waste time getting on the Hackers good side.

Then find yourself a Falcon (they're all over Rhineland) and slap some decent weapons on it. I usually stop over at Gas Miner Naha (Sigma 13) to pick up Skyblast A's for the Falcon. From there, it's a piece of cake to get to Omicron Theta (two jumpholes, I believe).

I never go to Freeport 9 with anything less than a Hammerhead armed with Skyblast B's. That way I can just blast my way through without bribing the Corsairs. I end up bribing them anyway, though, so I can raid the Nomad sector from Omicron Gamma while the Corsairs are friendly and the Bounty Hunters are neutral. Once I have my Eagle, level 10 shield, 4 Nomad Energy Cannons and 2 Tizona del Cid, who I tick off doesn't mean a whole lot.
